To account for annual minimum franchise tax payment made to California Franchise Tax Board using TurboTax Self-Employed Online, please follow these steps.
1. Start from Tax Home page
2. Click on the blue box Take me to my return
3. On the left, click Federal
4. At the Self-employment income and expenses section, click Edit or Add
5. Select the Line of work business, then click Add or Edit
6. Scroll down to the Expenses section, then Add expenses for this work
7. You will be directed to the next page "Tell us about any expenses....." Scroll down to Taxes and licenses section and select it. Then, click Continue at the bottom
