My mother passed in April 2020 and I need to make a final tax return to close out her estate. It should be relatively straightforward as the only document I have received is a 1099R and there was no income in 2021. I have two questions:
1) I purchased the Premier version of TurboTax for 2021 and filed my own personal taxes using that version. Can I use that same software to file the return for the estate of my mother?
2) The 1099R says to make a copy and mail it along with the return. I think I can file the 1099R electronically along with the return. Is that correct?
Thanks alot

You need TurboTax Business to prepare an income tax return for an estate (Form 1041).
See https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/
The estate is not required to file a return unless it has $600 or more of gross income.
See https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1041#en_US_2021_publink1000285942
If a return is filed, the 1099-R does not have to be included (or filed) with the return unless federal income tax has been withheld.
