Having an issue transmitting 565. It ends up transmitting but the IRS rejects it with the following warning:
Form 565 TaxPeriodBeginDate, TaxPeriodEndDate, and SOSNumber is not present, from the CA-Return Header cannot match a previously accepted return.
Also mentions that CA Entity ID is *****000000.
Really strange because I entered my Secretary of State Number.
Turbot tax returns with:
This return has been rejected due to a defect in the program that will be fixed in a future release. In the meantime, in order to file electronically with CA Parternship, ensure to enter a CA Secretary of State File Number on Part I, Form 565 Information worksheet.
I have entered my CA SoS File Number and after multiple transmissions it keeps getting rejecting. Anyone know why this is happening? My CA SoS number has been entered but it still shows a CA Entity ID as all 0's.

Form 1 in 565 had a check mark for "initial return, final return, amended return etc". Unchecking all of them ended up having a successful transmission.

My previous post was incorrect. Looks like we are only required to file a 568, not a 565. I don't know why Turbo Tax had me fill out both a 568 and a 565. According to the below link, as an LLC with multiple partners, we just needed to fill out a 568 which we already did.
