Entering expenses on Schedule C form

The boxes are grayed out when I try to add my expenses on Schedule C. I am using the Deluxe version which I have used for decades. I think this will be using TurboTax. It is no longer Turbo for me. It is taking forever & I am having all sorts of problems.
