Entering cows as assets

I will not show a profit this year and I would like to depreciate them. The farm asset section will not allow me to do this.

I'm sure it will let you enter a cow as breeding cattle in the Farm Income and Expense section, even with a loss. How can I help? Maybe this link will answer your questions;
