2024 Data will not import into Employer quick forms for 2025

I am having trouble importing the 2024 information in Employee Quick forms.  It keeps saying the file cannot be parsed or something like that.

What file should i be uploading?

This is an automatic process and you are probably not being successful because you should not be trying to upload a file manually. 

Quick Employer Forms (QEF) is designed to pull your 2024 data directly from the Intuit cloud, not from a file on your computer.

Instead of uploading a file, use the built-in "Import" or "Transfer" feature within the QEF interface:

1. Sign In: Access Quick Employer Forms using the same Intuit ID you used last year.
2. Navigate to My Businesses: On the left navigation bar, select My Businesses.
3. Use the Import Button: Look at the top of the page for a button labeled Import Business or Import from 2024.
4. Select and Transfer: A list of businesses you created in 2024 should appear. Check the boxes for the businesses and payees you want to bring into 2025 and click Import or Done.
