What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

Not trying to upset you , It can also mean you have simple errors that the IRS Error Resolution Department can fix.

Actually no , but it can be also cause they are so backed up also , the big update is this Saturday and the 27th , so hopefully we all will hear something soon .

im on " still being processed" my girlfriend says "being processed" both have no bars.....what do this mean? do the "still" message mean something is wrong with mine?

I called and they said long as I didn’t see any codes on wmr I am good even with the still being processed message so that does not always means id verify like ppl b saying so she said I should update by Friday and get a ddd on Saturday if not then call them bk on Monday

I'm just super frustrated as even last year with the delay for those with child credit i had my return by 2/20. I filed and was accepted this year on 1/30/19. I had bars up until 2/13/19 that is was approved but not sent. Turbo tax informed me when my returns were accepted that my FEDERAL would be deposited on 2/20/19 but i knew with the delay again this year with my child credit it would probably be that day again (same as last year and no earlier) But what i am confused about is that as of 2/14/19 my bars have completely disappeared and when i check WMR it says "We have received your tax return and it is being processed." I understand i have the credit and i wasn't going to get it back before 2/15/19 BUT WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS that there are people who filed much later than me and have the same credits as i do that are set for DD as of 2/22/19... i guess i'm confused of why; as i have always used TT, there has been no changes in any of my information besides income amount (which was literally a change of maybe 2k or less).. so why did it go from approved back to processing with NO BARS or even an estimated DDD? No letter received either that i need a pin or verify info.

We all will receive a ddd on Saturday I was looking on fb where’s my refund forum and someone said a agent told them there is no difference in it is being processed and it is still being processed they said long as you don’t see any codes then you are fine and haven’t received a letter by today then there is nothing to worry about and that a big update is on Saturday for 2/27 ddd so just hold on everyone our ddd is coming n a couple of days
