Dear Turbo Tax,
Since efiling on 02/19/2020 and submitting 8692 and 1095A, I haven’t heard anything from the IRS.
The deadline is near. What should I do now?
Thank you for advising.

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
The IRS received your 2019 tax return before July 15, 2020 so there is no issue concerning that date. Only if you have taxes owed and do not pay on or before July 15, 2020 would you have a failure to pay penalty.
If you have a tax refund there is no penalty for filing a 2019 return after July 15, 2020.

I did at least 3 times. But the automated machine returned with the message "Due to high volume of calls, we can't handle your call....".

You will have to keep trying. Other users have posted that calling first thing in the morning (7am) is sometimes successful.
