I put in the wrong routing number for my direct deposit. The bank rejected it and sent it back to the IRS. How long until I get a paper check?

You should receive notice from the IRS when they cannot complete the direct deposit and this notice will come via US Mail. Please see the following link for more info on the IRS notice you will receive: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp53a-notice.

Okay, but I’ve read multiple different stories with the same situation where they got their refund back in 10 days or like 4 weeks. The website says 10 weeks so I wasn’t sure about people who had gone through this, this year.
