Do i need to send a copy of my Federal papers with my State papers?

when i printed, it printed my Federal papers, then State, then another copy of Federal.  I'm just not sure if both need to be sent into state or if the 2nd Federal is just for my records

You should include the 2nd federal return copy with your state return to mail in. Most states require you to mail in a copy of your Federal Return with your state return.
