How do I change to print short forms and not all 134 pages

You can print "only forms needed for filing", and generally unclick your state form as (especially for California) it is often redundant with your Federal form.
You can also do it in two steps.  Print everything to PDF, and then pick and choose page ranges while printing to paper.

If this is for a prior year, you must select the partucular pages to print, as they are all in the same file.
