Amend tax for stock earning?

I just received my tax documents from robinhood of stock earning of around $300. Should I amend my taxes? If so, do all 1040x have to be mailed?

Yes, you will need to amend your tax return to show this additional income if you have already filed your tax return with the IRS.

Yes, the 1040-X does need to be mailed.

The IRS 1040-X will be available in TurboTax around February 22nd.  Amending is a simple process in TurboTax.  I will provide instructions below.

You will need to wait until the IRS receives and processes your original return. Wait until you receive the refund on your original tax return (or your check clears if you had to send a payment).
