Can I look at the individual federal tax forms while still working on return?

Do you mean you want to look at the various tax forms as you prepare your tax return?  Only the desktop versions of the software have Forms mode, in which you can go back and forth between "Forms" and "Easy Step" That feature is not available with online TurboTax.

Yes. Before proceeding, make sure Adobe Reader is installed on your computer. Most computers already have it, but if not you can get it for free at get.adobe.com/reader.

  1. Sign in and open (continue) your online return, if you're not already signed in.
  2. Select the Take Me to My Return button on the main screen.
  3. Select Tax Tools in the left-hand menu.
  4. Select Print Center, choose the first option (Print, save, or preview this year's return) and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you haven't yet paid your TurboTax Online fee (or registered, if you're in a free version), you'll need to do so before you can print.
  5. Once your PDF opens, select the "printer" icon or go to File > Print to open the Print window.
  6. Make any adjustments in the Print window such as number of copies, and then select the Print button at the bottom.

If nothing prints, or the PDF saves instead of prints, repeat Steps 4 and 5 and then:

  1. Select the Advanced button near the top of the Print window.
  2. In the popup, clear the Print to File checkbox.
  3. Select OK, and then select the Print button again.
