what do you mean with: Across the top of the 1040-NR, write “Amended? in addition do you know where to send the 1040X and 1040NR?

@denise1989 If you look on page 18 of theInstructions for 1040X form, it'll advise you where to mail in your amended return.

@wrm5001 The IRS will not start processing federal returns until February 12, 2021. Once the IRS accepts your return, most refunds are received within 21 days although some do require more time to review. Please see the TurboTax FAQ: When will I get my IRS tax refund? for more information.
