I am sorry for the frustration, but we are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

You do yourself no favors replying in this way. When credible news sources state that the irs will be sending out payments early next week, this reply makes TurboTax appear to be dishonest or ill-informed.
As of today April 10th, people have began recieving deposits. 2 of my friends have their's on the Netspend prepaid card. So I'm not understanding why turbo tax which is a prepaid card not giving nobody a direct answer. It's really ashame that people whole desperately need this money can't get answers. I believe you know the answer. Stop giving a generic answer to a real question. Y'all got to do better than this, and this goes for your customer service representatives as well. So we know the IRS is depositing to prepaid cards. So what lie y'all coming up with next.
Will I get my similar check on the card

Are TurboTax debit cards issued by SBPTG?
So is our debit account -routing number - account number - for our turbocard through green dot bank not a checking account? There seems to be a pretty clear indication a fraudulent process has been revealed through this situation. Please forward this onto a supervisor and I expect a message with a resolution/restitution, otherwise you will be hearing from my attorney.
@LinaJ2020 , that's incorrect...I just spoke with a representative from Turbocard and they said the card is issued through Inuit, not Santa Barbara bank and trust. They informed me that my turbo card will he used for my payment. And I went on the TPG page to enter my information and it said no information found. Which means this doesn't pertain to me. So who lying you or them?
Our tax return forms have routing and account info for direct deposit. If this stimulus payment gets sent via a paper check I'm going to organize another class action lawsuit against turbotax for damages to customers conned into getting the turbo card instead of traditional direct deposit.
The fact that turbotax can't make safe assumptions relative to the laws being passed to setup their systems to get this money to their customers, US citizens, in a more timely manner is so **bleep** egregious and obviously the result of greed.
To continue the account on our card is an active “checking account” so there should be no cause to not deposit said stimulus payment.
A tax expert, not through turbo tax, stated that as long as it’s on your paper work as direct deposit you should record on your card, but it’s considered a legitimate bank . So we will all see
I got a notification saying my 1200 was deposited in my account but when I checked my account it was not and the notification is completely gone, and nothing in my transactions.
Deposited today available 4/15/2020
How is it that TurboTax has partnered with the IRS but completely forgot about their customers. How does TurboTax not know if people that used this freaking card will be able to get funds issued there. This should have been worked out the moment TurboTax knew funds would be deposited using direct deposit information on the tax return. A lot of people are right TurboTax is becoming less and less honest and upfront. Do better checks are been released and this mass majority of your customers have no clue what to do or how to ensure they will receive money and all your reps can do it keep posting the same bs robot answer. Where is a CEO or something no way this all the information yall got. Just tell the truth and be honest everyone that has that janky TurboTax card is going to have to wait on paper checks!
