Why is my tax refund not here Illinois 5 weeks

I filed on Feb 12 and was approved March 20 still not here and just says it's late. no other communication.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

margotfisher123@ It seems like the question you posted above asked why your IL refund has not arrived yet.

 Now you say that is not what you were asking.  What is your question?   

TurboTax has no control over how long it will take IL to send your refund.  TT only gives you estimated dates for your refunds, but some refunds come sooner; some take much longer.   TurboTax gets no information from your state after you file your tax return, so all you can do is track it on the state's tax site and watch for information there.
