I am in the same position and would like to know this answer
If you went through the entire return and got a message that your return was successfully filed, you should not have to do anything else. To check the e-file status of your return, please click here for instructions. Your return should currently be in pending status. Pending status is where the IRS will review basic details of the return to make sure the information matches, such as birth date and social security number. Once this is confirmed, in usually 24-48 hours, depending on the backlog, then the status will updated to accepted. You will stay in an accepted status for up to 21 days until the IRS fully reviews your return and approves it. Then the status will change to approved. For more information on the accepted status, please click here.
Is my taxes pending because of the advancement? TurboTax wanna make sure my taxes are accepted so they won’t loose out on any funds due to the advancement. Because it has been 3 days since I filed.
I’m not in the irs system when I put in my information
This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund? tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.
