Why is my state return taking so long? I already got my federal refund

Some states have placed extra security in reviewing and issuing refund checks, so it has taken longer for refunds to be issued. The best thing to do is to call your states department of revenue and ask them what the status is and if they can get you a good date. The states do not share this information with Turbo Tax.
