Did your friend use the invitation link that you had requested for them in their email to prepare and file a return with TurboTax? If so, then you should have received an email about the gift card, which can take "up to 45 days" after they filed. You are well outside that period. Be sure to also check your email's spam/junk folders.
Since it's been longer than 45 days, you should phone TurboTax Support for further assistance. If you used Free Edition, you may not be able to reach TurboTax Support by phone, so I've also included another way to contact them below using messaging at social media.
