Why has my refund update status bar disappeared? I know I filed an accurate and complete return. I e-filed on 1/27

Did you claim the EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) or ACTC (Additional Child Tax Credit)?

Where's My Refund? on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22 (but it could be later). So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.

The IRS expects the first of these refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March.

Keep checking back, as the IRS will eventually update your refund status.  You can also try calling the IRS Refund Hotline at (800) 829-1954.
