Why did TPG take our money!?

I filed thru TurboTax and my state refund was deposited by “Franchise tax board” (IRS) but now my federal took well over the 21 day return even though it was accepted the day after I filed and was deposited by “TPG” and I’m well aware of the fees which took from my return of $40 but they took $1700!? There’s absolutely no way a fee of $1700 should have been taken. No way of reaching “TPG” and no way of getting ahold of IRS. Why did they take our money? TurboTax, get rid of TPG and get us our money back!

If the amount is exactly $1,700 it is probably related to the Recovery Rebate Credit or advance Child Tax Credit payments. You will have to wait for the IRS letter explaining what they changed on your tax return. See the links in my reply above.
