Why did Intuit TurboTax send my personal information to green dot bank ? Is this another SCAM?

Did you choose to have your tax refund deposited to a prepaid Visa?  If so, that card is from Green Dot Bank.

We have no way of knowing in this user community forum what you are referring to unless you explain it.  This is a public forum, however, so don't post any personal info.

What prompted your question?  What did you experience?

Green Dot Bank is involved if you choose to get your refund on a TurboTax Prepaid Visa Card.

Green Dot is also involved if you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund.  The intermediary company that provides that service (SBTPG=Santa Barbara Tax Products Group) is a Green Dot company and may use Green Dot Bank to deliver a refund.
