Why am I being charged to amend my taxes?

If when you are amending you are entering tax information that would have required an upgrade to another version of Turbo Tax when you filed it on your original return that will be the cause of the charge.

Why am I being charged to amend my taxes?

I simply added a 1099-G that I received after I filed - why is that requiring an upgrade?
