@X2345 - it can be resolved on your 2020 tax return. Go under 'Federal Review' and it will ask questions about how much stimulus you received ($-0-) and there will be a credit on Line 30 of Form 1040.
same thing happened to me. I wrote turbotax and the IRS, no response. I have no idea where that box is on my return. Looked for it and it is not there. No one will claim responsibility for this software error. Now I will not get the second stimulus either! Very angry.

If you used the Refund Processing Service to have the TurboTax account fees paid from your federal tax refund, then see the information on this SBTPG website - https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/
Go to this IRS get my payment website - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
If you do not receive any other stimulus payments by January 15, 2021, then the stimulus payment for which you are eligible to receive will be entered on your 2020 federal tax return as a tax credit on Form 1040 Line 30.
The TurboTax program will ask about stimulus payments in the Federal Review section of the program.
Not only have I not received a stimulus payment, but also no email from TT explaining the delay. Trying to speak with a human is impossible. TT keeps fobbing this off on the IRS. I've used TT for 8 years, and will never use them again. The govts bread crumbs will at least keep my car from being repossessed.... oh wait... I fked up and used TurboTax... guess I'll be walking to the food lines....
That's utter nonsense and defeats the purpose of a stimulus in the first place... so now you have to wait for a tax credit by filing you taxes in what...another month? how is that helping anyone who needs help now? I will certainly never use TT again.
This company does not care. I have been paying taxes for a lonnng time and was never entered or claimed as a dependent, but surprise ! the software said I can be claimed as a dependent. NEVER NOBODY IN MY FAMILY will use this junk TURBOJUNK again!

More clarification is needed to answer your questions - Did you claim the Recovery Rebate Credit (Line 30) on your return and it later got adjusted by the IRS? If so, then the IRS determined you were not qualified for the credit because you got the full amount of the stimulus payments.
If you did not have any amount on your 1040, Line 30, then you should amend your return if you qualify for the credit. If you did not get the full amount of the first or second round stimulus payment because you did not qualify due to the last tax return filed, and now you qualify due to a change in circumstance, then you should get a Recovery Rebate Credit.
Per the IRS, your Recovery Rebate Credit amount will be phased out if your adjusted gross income for 2020 exceeds $150,000 if you are married filing a joint return or filing as a qualifying widow or widower, $112,500 if you are using the head of household filing status, or $75,000 if you are using any other filing status.
You will not be able to amend your return until it has been accepted by the IRS. Once your return is accepted, please follow the directions on the page How do I amend my 2020 return?
Then, please follow these steps to get to the recovery rebate form:
Regarding your stimulus payment, please check the status of your payment with the Get My Payment tool.
Per the IRS, if your payment can’t be delivered to you for any reason, it will be returned to the IRS. To get your payment reissued:
For other ways to update your address with the IRS, see How do I notify the IRS my address has changed?
Please keep in mind that The IRS issues refunds and stimulus payments, not TurboTax.
