Where's my refunds?

The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-filed return has been accepted (received). To check your e-file status, please use the link below:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

You can also check your refund status at https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Additionally, the following link provides helpful information on estimated refund due dates based on date of filing: https://www.cpapracticeadvisor.com/tax-compliance/news/21123770/chart-shows-estimated-irs-income-tax...

Where's my refunds?

@kjbb20 Where are you looking for your refund date? Was it through "Where's my Refund" or TurboTax? TurboTax does not receive any updates on your return after it is transmitted to the IRS. Therefore any dates you see in TurboTax would be purely estimates not a guaranteed refund date. If the date came from the IRS and has passed and you have not gotten your deposit, then you will want to contact the IRS. If there is no date on the WMR, once 21 calendar days have passed since your return was accepted, you can reach out to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return. If you call any sooner they will tell you to call back after 21 days. Please click here for contact information.

@bransom To get the most accurate date for your refund, please go to Where's My Refund.  You can also click here to see a chart with estimated refund dates based on the date your return was accepted by the IRS.
