Where do I find the bank info I provided for direct deposit of my refund to verify if the information is correct

Where can I find my direct deposit account information after I've e-filed?

You can find your direct deposit account info on your Tax Return Summary.

  1. Sign in to TurboTax. If you're already signed in, select Tax Home from the side menu
  2. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select Show
  3. Select 2021, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this is just the workaround)
  4. In the left menu, select Tax Tools
  5. Underneath Tax Tools, select Print Center
  6. Then, Print, save or preview this year’s return
  7. Now check the 2021 Federal return box and select Include government and TurboTax worksheets
  8. Select View or print forms
  9. The first page in the pop-up is your federal return summary. In the first section, you'll see the bank account info you entered for your direct deposit.

You can check the status of your Wisconsin refund:

You can look on your Federal Form 1040, Line 35.    State returns will use the same direct deposit account you used for federal.   To check the status of your Wisconsin state refund, go to the Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue linked here.

You will be prompted to enter:

  • Tax return year
  • Your Social Security number or ITIN
  • Enter refund amount from your return (whole dollars only)

Then, click “Submit”.   To check your federal return, visit Where's My Refund.

A number of things could cause a delay in your Wisconsin refund, including the following:

  • If your homestead credit claim was selected for review
  • If your earned income credit claim was selected for review
  • If you were selected for identity verification
  • If we found errors in matching wage information
  • Fraud and error safeguards could delay some returns
