Where can I find the verification code for my 2023 taxes that I filed

I got a letter from my state taxes, asking for my verification code, when I Filed my 2023 taxes

What state is it? I file in two states and there is no "verification code" for either one. Does the letter actually say "verification code"? If not, what exactly does it ask for?

I would call the state and ask what they want.  It might be a fake scam letter.  We don't know what a "verification code"  is.
