MAGI is calculated differently for different purposes. There are about a dozen different definitions of MAGI, depending on what it's being used for.
What do you need your MAGI for?
For most purposes the details of the MAGI calculation are not shown in TurboTax. The calculation is done behind the scenes. Even the calculated MAGI amount might not appear in TurboTax, unless it's required on an IRS form.
The only Modified Adjusted Gross Income Worksheet in TurboTax is for the Special Allowance for Rental Real Estate Activities With Active Participation in Part II of Form 8582 for Passive Activity Loss Limitations. Is that the MAGI that you are looking for?

Does TurboTax calculate MAGI for Medicare / IRMAA purposes?
No, TurboTax doesn't calculate MAGI for increased Medicare premiums ("IRMAA"). But MAGI for IRMAA is simply Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) plus tax-exempt interest. On your tax return for 2021 through 2024 the MAGI for IRMAA is Form 1040 line 11 plus line 2a.
Note that your IRMAA is based on your MAGI from two or three years ago. For example, your IRMAA for 2025 will usually be based on your 2023 tax return, or possibly your 2022 tax return.
Thanks Champ!!! After retiring, trying to look ahead and stay under the IRMAA threshold. Those premiums increase drastically and yet the service remains the same 🙂
