I already purchased turbo tax online, but need to download to file state return. How do I do this without paying twice?

New York State requires me to e-file, but can't figure out how to attach the required document without starting over and paying twice.

When you pay for TurboTax federal and state in File step1, it means you pay for the efiling. And you can just follow the instructions to continue efile in step 3 of both your federal return and state return. Before final transmit, you have the opportunity to view and save your tax return in pdf format. Even after you file your return, you can still save both .tax2018 file and your return in pdf format again. You don't get charged as long as you already paid in step1.
