When should I send my amended return

I filed 2018 w2 that was not filed last year on this years return. “I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to” But this years return for $5969 has already been accepted but I have not received it yet. It’s under 60day review  for accuracy and I was told that I don’t need to do anything. But when I started my amended return it says I owe money $2653 now. What do I do ?

@AkinaLO So wmr says we have received your refund and it is being processed. Wait until it’s approved ?

You would need to wait until the review process is completed (approved) before you can file your amendment using the How to amend a return instructions.
