When prompted for the date I planned to pay my federal tax due, I accidentally entered today's date in 2021. Now it's showing no penalty. Where can I correct that?

Previously I was showing an underpayment penatly of $13, but now it's showing no penalty

When prompted for the date I planned to pay my federal tax due, I accidentally entered today's date in 2021. Now it's showing no penalty. Where can I correct that?

If your e-filed return is pending, you will not be able to make any changes until it is accepted or rejected by the IRS. After that, you can amend your return. Please see How to amend (change or correct) a return you've already filed for more information.

I haven't actually filed yet, so I can still make changes without an amendment if I can figure out where to make those changes 🙂
