When does the IRS send out paper checks

I e-filed 2/2/22 but had an hold up with my refund… I finally got a date 07/13/22 & they’re sending a check instead of direct deposit… WMR still shows a delay message..

What day of the week do they send out checks M-F or just Friday ??!

When does the IRS send out paper checks

There is no specific "day" it is mailed out ... so watch the IRS WMR?  tool for the date it is issued then expect the post office to take up to a week to get it to your house.

When does the IRS send out paper checks

The  IRS will mail your refund via first class mail---there will not be any sort of tracking---so make sure you watch your mailbox and open all mail.  Do not throw anything away without opening the envelope first to see if it is junk mail.   No one can pinpoint the exact day the U.S. postal system will put that envelope in your mailbox.
