When can I expect my return

The best and most accurate way to check the status of your refund is to click here: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

The IRS updates this every 24 hours with information pertaining to your refund. Usually, the IRS issues refunds within 21 days of the return being accepted. However, for those who claimed the EITC (earned income tax credit) and the ACTC (additional child tax credit) the IRS  expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards on February 27, 2019
