When asked Did You Ever Receive the American Opportunity or Hope Credit? I said yes for the last 3 years. But, when I reviewed the PDF return at the end it said NO.

Just before filing, it gives you the option to review the tax return one last time and lets you download a PDF of it. Part III, box 23, asks "Has the American Opportunity Credit been claimed for this student for any 4 prior tax years?". The box that says "No -- go to line 24" is checked even though I said I did when it asked me at the beginning of this process. I tried going back to change it but it didn't work.

The question is really asking if you took all 4 years of the American Opportunity Credit. If you got the credit on your 2023 return all is good.
