Yes, they're supposed to send via mail a bank print check also known as cashier check to you of your refund. Turbotax charged $170 and then I was charged an extra $40 after it has been posted that I will receive a cashier's check. If you call the number for updated information, you get a new bank print check date of the day you call, which is weird. No email response yet either from my inquiry on my hard earned money that I really could use and i know I'm not the only victim. IRS should and could be better about this issue. The fee should have been sent to SBTPG instead of the full amount of the refund.
I selected to have a call back and it took a hr or so for them to call me back only for everyone to give me different answers
Thank you for replying! I just called and the automated system says “a payment was made to you on 3/2/22 via bank print check. I hope this means it was sent out in the mail today ? And I’ll receive it soon
Yes I called days before my deposit date and had changed to a bank print check and still nothing it’s ridiculous!
No it will give you the same message everyday with a new date
About how long in all did it take for you to get it in the mail ?
I been waiting for a check still , I called since the 17th to switch to a bank print check dd was the 24th still nothing received
Oh shucks I hope we both get it soon I will keep you posted makes me not want to file with them anymore
So did you get your refund by mail
So TPG just called me back he said all checks were mailed out yesterday
Oh good lord . Finally a straight answer . Thank you sm !
I can’t get a straight answer I’ve talked to 7 different people in a week all say something different
A turbo tax professional does not know how they work so
I’m hoping this last person I spoke with is telling the truth he said all checks were sent out yesterday that there was a problem with their system but they got them all sent yesterday so I’m hoping he’s giving the correct info !
