Arizona 140X amended return does not show changed amount.

I had to update the payment made with an extension. However, the original reported and changed amounts are the same on the resulting 140X form.

Arizona 140X amended return does not show changed amount.

Then you have to  go though the State Tab again for state to update.  But you should use the Forms Mode (click Forms in the upper right) and enter it directly on the 140X.

What exactly did you change?

You need to go into Forms Mode and manually enter the right amounts.  Did you use the Forms Mode?

I updated state extension payment amount under Personal > Deductions and Credits > Estimates and Other Taxes paid.

Yes, I changed the amount manually. I was wondering if this was the only way to make an amend. Thanks for your comments.
