Mine was accepted 2/21. As of today where’s my refund says the info (that enter every day) is not valid. Their phone is still off the hook.
I had spoken with a live person at the IRS. Who told me that if you are the 1out 10 people, do not expect it until after April 22nd. That's when you can call and they will have an answer of what is going on with your taxes. Right now, they so backed up they are not even sending letters out if something needs to be fixed until April 22
Unfortunately, a lot of taxpayers are in the same situation as you due to the IRS backlog right now. Although The IRS issues most refunds from e-filed returns in about 21 days, some returns take more time to review. In addition, the IRS is processing millions of returns, as well as stimulus checks, and they are doing everything they can to be as prompt as possible.
For some taxpayers, PATH Act requirements and other identity-protection safeguards implemented by the IRS may account for longer wait times.
Other things that can delay your refund include, but are not limited to:
Same here..I filed 2019 on 3/31/2020...TT took their fee from my checking account in July while it said still processing..now the IRS says they don't have my 2019 taxes when I have the confirmation that they were accepted the same day I filed. Got my 2020 taxes within 2 weeks. This has been ridiculous and I cant seem to get any answers.
I'm still waiting on mine also. I had to do taxes with TurboTax to claim the first and second stimulus checks that I never received and I'm on SSI. I did mine on Feb. 16th and got it accepted by IRS, It still says it's still being processed. I'm hoping that I get it soon though. I might have to do the same thing for the third stimulus check that I didn't received it. so now I'm waiting on all 3 of them.
“IRS 2Go” no longer recognizes my refund request. Gives me a Refund Status Error ... Information does not match. Have checked every day since 2/22 and always noted something to the effect that it was in the system and working.
now I did file an amended return last week because I had noted no stimulus received but found they had stimulated me with $13.75 and deposited to a little used bank account. I wonder if the $14 I sent them on the amended has screwed a very large refund?
Report his worthless ass. He had till the end of January to provide you with that information needed. Contact the irs and they can fine him every day he don't provide you with your w2s needed to file your taxes.
Or your 1099 I mean. Also you can contact your local congressman and I GUARANTEE they will get the ball rolling if the irs is refusing to. That dont even sound right because if they can get money out of you they want theirs. Gl and lmk if that helps.
Mine was filed the 28th of January and was accepted on the 13th of February and the bars went away after 2 weeks and now I check daily and says the same [removed]...your refund is still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available. Absolutely [removed] as I've spoke with irs and they couldn't find any issues but the eic and child tax credit sent it to the return department and when I spoke to them there is only certain QUALIFIED PEOPLE in the return department to MANUALLY do my taxes. So along with the other 6-7 million refunds in the return department to buy them extra time we wait.
I'd be contacting tt and finding out what information is incorrect.
22nd huh. That's my 10 week mark that they told me. And nothing changes on the wmr site. Your return is still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available. Absolute bull**bleep**.
1 out of 10. Lmfaoo. Their way understaffed and backlogged and heard they put 6 million in return department to buy them more time. [removed] the irs and their [removed]. If you owed them they'd want their money asap or come after your assets. [removed]
Have filed with tt the SAME THE 9 YEARS so why would it be this year I've waited almost 10 weeks?
I'm sure it did. You never want to file a amended return unless directed to by the IRS.
