To see when your return is posted as "filed" you'll need a tax account transcript or a tax return transcript.

I don't know. I'm confused and frustrated. I filed feb.1st and they were accepted Feb. 14th. It says still being processed on the where's my refund site. I checked my transcript and it says I haven't filed a return for 2020 at all. Can someone tell me why?
The transcript is only going to show a return once the IRS processes the return into the system.
Most taxpayers will receive the refund within 21 days after acceptance.
My taxes were accepted 6 weeks ago and still no refund. It shows my status as still processing without a bar and my refund transcript shows NA. Can't get through the 800 number and no letter. This is ridiculous
@Wpolk23 Although the IRS provides a guideline of 21 days to release most refunds, some refunds take longer to process based on various reasons including certain
credits claimed. The FAQ below serves as a reference.
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
That sort of cut-and-paste boilerplate really isn't very useful. It's more useful to note that the IRS is slammed right now owing to the pandemic, and are still processing 2019 returns because of the filing date extension. By far the most likely explanation is that they simply haven't gotten to that return yet.
@Cacogen The response above is accurate for certain tax returns and yes the IRS is undoubtedly facing delays due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic.
I filed on February 16th, 2021 and was accepted the same day. My transcript also says "no record of return filed". My status shows "still processing" and I lost the bar almost 2 months ago. I've seen the IRS trying to blame the delays on several different things, stimulus, unemployment, covid, new tax laws, etc, but the fact is, this is the third year in a row that my return has been delayed. In 2019 I filed in February and didn't receive any refund until October! They had to pay me interest since it was past April 15th (which is why I believe they changed file date to May 17th this year, to avoid paying interest to so many ppl) however, in 2020 I was sent a form for that interest and had to report it as income!! Only the govt can steal your money, be late sending it back to you, pay interest to you as an "apology", then make you report that "apology" as income and charge you taxes on it!! The whole thing is ridiculous! I expect they will try to get most returns processed before May 17th to avoid paying interest, so I'm honestly not even expecting anything before then. Plus I did see that the IRS is already planning to start sending checks to people in May who filed their return BEFORE the unemployment tax credit. Would be nice if the could just finish processing all original returns forst?!? Just to note, I do find it strange (odd, weird, telling or something?) that for the past few years SO many people have had their refunds significantly delayed, well past the alleged 21 day period, but when you try to search and get some type of explanation or update, all you really find is something in reference to the "IRS states" the majority of filers will receive their refund in 21 days or less or a list explaining all the reasons your return could be delayed (most all being something YOU did wrong). Either way, just odd! Regardless of how many people are still waiting or how long it's taking, there is never a statement or explanation directly from the IRS. In my opinion, this would help a lot of people and likely cut way back on the number of phone calls the IRS recieves from people who are stressed, concerned, confused, etc.
The same thing happened to me. I finally received a letter almost a month and a half after I filed and was accepted. It states that I had to verify my ID and tax return. I got that finished the day after I received the l letter and they told me it could still be up to 9 weeks before I see my money. That was a week and a half ago.

Why is there no record of my return at Where's My Refund (WMR)?
