What does it means when it say your tax refund is transmit

Transmitted means your return has been sent to the IRS by TurboTax. Once pulled out of the queue, your return will change to a pending status. Your return will stay in a pending status until the IRS confirms basic information matches such as your name, social security number, and date of birth. The status should update in approximately 24-48 hours from the time it goes to a pending status but it could be longer until the IRS clears out the January backlog.
