What does it mean to amend taxes + forgot a forum!

Hello! So I'm not new to using turbo tax to file however I accidentally screwed up because it slipped my mind. When filing for this year, all information was the same as last year except for changing my employment. But, I forgot to add that I did go to school. Submitted everything yesterday and only remembered because received my 1098-T today. ☹️ I'm not able to go in and change anything now I don't know what to do. I looked it up and it said I can amend my taxes but I don't know what that means.

Once you file your return, and it is accepted it, you cannot make any changes to it; however, you can amend it.  What does it mean to Amend?  See the following Help Article:
