After you verify your identity how long does it take to get your taxes back

June 3 will be the end of my 60 days but I verified identity on Feb 28th idk what they doing

So i just Got another letter stating they needed an extra 60 days to verify!!!! I’m so livid! Could they deny my refund? Has anyone gotten the letter and got their return before the 60 days!?

@kwicker1416 so is this your first 60 day letter? Because they know if they don’t pay us 45 days after tax date they have to pay us interest on our refund

I verified on 19 of Feb still waiting I have gotten the 60 letter. Last time month. No change for me.

@ceno2013  yeah, the first letter said it’s up for review and it’ll be 9 weeks, then today i got A letter saying 60 days.

I filed Jan 31 got my first letter March 11

I got the same letter. I called and they gave my a date of June 2nd

My date is June 3 (60 days) and I’m definitely going after my Interest if they don’t pay

I'm in week 5 of waiting after verifying my identity.  WMR has not changed at all.  Still says they cannot provide information.  Extremely frustrating.
