We helped a friend who has stage 4 cancer. She was going to loose her house. Gave her money. Can we deduct anything on our taxes.

We also gave her a car so she can get to the doctor and hospital.  She can no longer drive so her husband is taking her to the doctor and hospital for cancer treatment.  Without our help (money) she would have lost her house.  Does any of this affect our taxes?

There's no deduction for gifts.

Sorry--no.   You have been very kind and generous to your friend in a sad and difficult time.  But gifts to individuals are not deductible.  Only charitable donations to IRS-recognized charitable organizations can be entered as deductions.
