Me as well I've had this since 1/25 so not sure what's going on I am just giving up ever time I call they all say something different and don't see what it could be every thing on my return is correct so I don't know it's crazy we pay in but when it's are turn to get are money back they want us to wait but they don't wait and see if we want to pay taxes
My transcript says nothing also. When I verified my identity it stated up to 9 weeks. Hopefully we get it before WWIII
I received the same message and I think mine have to do with the third stimulus check most of us received last year! When I filed my taxes it asked if I received a third stimulus check and I replied NO, because I totally forgot. And by me saying no I think 🤔 it cause an error in the amount of my refund by boosting it to a higher amount. So I am pretty sure that’s why mine is being delayed. Just thought I would share.
I was accepted 2/1. My status changed to this delayed message last Saturday. When I checked my irs account it was showing my refund had not even been processed & nothing was on my transcript, even though I was accepted on Feb 1. I checked this morning WMR still has the delayed message but logging into my account the "not processed" message is gone & my transcript gives a refund issue date of next week. Fingers crossed it happens. We'll see.
The received date on the transcript is when to expect ??
The most accurate date is by using the WMR tool. More assistance and details with tracking your return accurately has been provided by clicking here.
i think I did the same thing. I finally got some action on my transcript when I checked yesterday, but it says “action pending” and a notice was sent out. I noticed that they made the adjustment to the refund, so I wonder what else they would be holding the new refund amount for and how long it will take. Ugh
Same boat. This is more of a therapeutic rant than anything; however, I filed 2/5, accepted 2/5 and had 1 bar on WMR all the way until 2/27/22. I check on 2/27 and its "sorry your refund is delayed beyond normal time". Transcripts show "N/A" and "No Return Filed".
I accepted NO STIMULUS CHECK (not a single one...I worked through the pandemic and didnt qualify). Taxes are the same almost every year.
I find it unbelievable that 1. People filed 2 weeks AFTER me and are getting their deposits, no issue, this week 2. The IRS has NO ISSUE taking taxes, every check, right on time...but when its time to owe me? I'm told "sorry, just wait". and 3. I pay TT $300+ for all sorts of "protection" and "CPA assistance", yet when I have actual questions...again its "I dont know? Just wait?".
Unreal.
Mine was due on the 21st of Feb it now show up saying 3/7 depositing refund. Go to IRS.gov go unto your act and do transcript online. Mine said as of 3/7/22 and said the amount that will deposit. It is because the company that'd did your deposit did not not correctly do something and 9 chances outta 10 it is due to the stimulus.
What does this message mean and how do you actuall talk to a real person. I have delay message, with topic 152. Accepted on 1/29. Still waiting. How do you get transcript to look at refund date?
If you don’t have one already. Create an account on the IRS website through IDMe. And you’ll be able to view your transcript.
Tax Topic 152 means the IRS is still processing your return. For further details, please see this IRS Topic No.152 Refund Information article.
If the IRS has accepted your e-filed return, you can check the status of your refund by going directly to https://www.irs.gov/refunds.
Please see How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)? for information, including the IRS phone number.
I got my stimulus information from the it’s.gov website. My issue was due to confirmation of my identity. Anyone else have this issue? And if so how long did it take to rectify after following the instructions to verify identity
Same here. I filed on Feb 9 and federal/state were both accepted same day. I received a letter from the IRS on Feb 25 or 26 that was dated Feb 14, 2022 giving an amount for the third stimulus. WMR changed on Feb 27 showing the delayed message. I also think it has to do with the third stimulus. I was confused to receive the IRS letter two weeks AFTER I filed. It would make sense that the IRS have letters/tax documents sent out by the end of January just as employers do.
Has anyone got their direct deposit refund even with the "we apologize but your return...." message still showing on wmr
