WHEN I FILED MY TAXES THIS YR I MESSED UP THE W2 EMPLOYER ADDRESS AND THE EMPLOYEE IDENTIFICATION BECAUSE EMPLOYERS W2 OFF THE WEBSITE HAD DIFFERENT INFORMATION THAN THE W2 I RECEIVED IN THE MAIL THE MONEY CONFIGURATIONS WERE CORRECT BUT MY EIN AND UT EMPLOYEE # WERE DIFFERENT WILL THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE I READ THAT IF IT IS SOMETHING MINOR THE IRS WILL CORRECT IT? DO I NEED TO AMEND AND UPDATE THAT?

You don't have to amend your tax return. It won't affect your refund/tax due and the IRS has the correct "copy" anyway.

OK THANK U SO AT THIS POINT I AM WAITING FOR THE STATUS TO CHANGE FROM APPROVED TO ACCEPTED? DONT AMEND BECAUSE U HAVE THE INFORMATION CORRECT
