My employer left incorrect punctuation in their name on my W2 form but the EIN number is correct. This has caused an error in my electronic filing so I need to file my tax returns on paper because it does not match the spelling that the IRS has for them. I have asked several times that it be changed to no avail. How can this be changed? What is involved?

What tax year are you referring to here?
Punctuation in the employer name sounds like a very unlikely reason for a rejection--so it would be interesting to know exactly what the rejection message said.
The IRS has not even begun to accept or reject 2024 e-files. They will start doing that on January 29. If your past year (2023?) return was rejected, the only way to file it now is by mail. E-filing is permanently closed for 2023 returns.
