After electronically filing my return through turbotax, I received the letter asking me to verify my identity. I opted to do it via ID.me and had to use my naturalization certificate with a live agent since my drivers license had expired. Everything went well and I received and email saying to click a link to allow sharing of my information with the IRS. I did this and everything seemed good to go.
Do I just need to wait for my previously submitted claim to process? When I log into my account at IRS.gov, the account status for 2021 says: "Your 2021 Tax Return Is Not Processed". Does this mean although not processed, it has been received and is just in the queue?
