CTC passed a committee. Wait till the President signs the law.

The enhanced child tax credit has not passed.   It made it through the House of Representatives and is now in the Senate.  It has not been passed or signed into law.   We do not know if or when it will pass.   IF it passes, the change to tax software will not be instant.  The IRS will have to change the tax forms, get them ready for tax software----the tax software has to be programmed----it will take a longer time than you might imagine......so....wait until you see what happens in the Senate.
