Uploading last year's tax return pdf

Hi, I used TaxSlayer last year and its saved as a PDF because that is the only option from that provider. According to TT, it should be compatible to upload and import my info but it does not work, any solutions?  also don't see TT chat box anymore for help?

Good luck.  You need to have the actual electronic pdf file not a printed or scanned copy.  And then it only transfers your basic personal info.  See the last section here.  Or you will just have to manually enter any it needs as you go along.

But a pdf only transfer very basic info like your name and AGI. Be just as easy to manually enter all your info.  

Transfer pdf to Online version.  See the section if you used other software last year.
