Its been over 21 days and no status updates on where's my refund. Status bars have disappeared. States your refund is still processing, refund date given when available

I do know that a Tax Advocate can help you since you have been waiting over the 21 days. A lot of those people used the Tax Advocates office who filed around the time you did and got DDD for 3/20. Maybe call them on Monday. One person said, the advocate told them that the processor entered the wrong codes on their return and had it stuck in the system.

I've tried tax advocate to no avail.
I've gotten two vague letters now with no real answers.
I was accepted 1/28. Bars disappeared mid Feb. Got a code to call. I called and was given no real info. After 21 days I called again. They said letter would be sent mid March. Received letter first week of March which said do nothing and that I would hear from them April 25th or I would get another letter. I tried tax advo who said nothing could be done unless I was in dire need. Received new letter today LTR 2645C that said they are "working on it" and that they needed 60 more days to send me a complete response on what action they are taking on my account.  Again, they asked me for nothing.

Something isn't right and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to turn for real answers.

Unfortunately there’s not! Everybody is being told something different each time they call.  But it’s evident that they’re severely behind this tax season, And unfortunately it started with the government shut down. Trust me I understand your Frustration! I dislike the part of there’s nothing we can do but wait and hope! I stop checking honestly!

Almost don't even want to open the mail from IRS anymore. I'm just going to move on and hope I get a tax return next year without any problems. I will never again use TurboTax or any online form ever again. I will do the old fashioned hand written/math calculated snail mail way I did prior to 2004 when I started using online tax returns.
I'm over it.

It’s been a month and my transcripts are still blank. No codes. Nothing. What in the world does that mean.

??? No idea. My transcripts look "normal" and just as they should, but yet  I have no refund and no answers except be patient.

Ok I have a tiny update. My wmr message changed to “we have received your return and it is being processed.” Maybe that means there’s movement happening?!

I had that update weeks ago. Now TT has sent me an email telling me that since my refund will not processed or that it will possibly be smaller than I thought they are debiting my account April 12th for the $$ I owe them since they can't take it out of my refund that clearly doesn't exist.
It just keeps getting better. :(

Ugh that sucks. I’d heard of that happening so I left some money in my account just in case. And I’ve worked a lot of overtime in the last 2 weeks. I’m exhausted. I just want my refund. Checked treanscripts. They’re still blank. Still no letters from irs. So frustrating.

My transcripts are fine. Just got off phone with IRS again about 2 letters I received. They really don't give any new or helpful info. She said if I haven't heard anything within 45 days to call back. It's weird that you have blank transcripts and no letters, but maybe that's a better sign.
My letters just stressed me further. :(

My cousin is a CPA and has been for 30+ years. She said blank transcripts and no letters simply mean no one has even looked at my return. The still processing message meant I would not get refund within 21 days. The message change means they Have started actually processing it now and my  21 days start over. Any hold or action would’ve been listed on transcripts otherwise. Which goes along with what IRS told me- that they’re just behind and be patient. But I NEED this money and I’ve never had my money kept from me this long before. If they find something NOW that they’re finally looking at it though I may end up with a letter or something. Ugh I hope not.

Well... I mean my transcripts were exactly like my filed return and the letters didn't ask me for anything. So I don't know. I wish I could find an answer. "Be patient" is not my strong suit when I need the $$$.
