TurboTax showed my return with itemized deductions. When I entered the payment info and filed, it filed with standard deductions and didn't take payment 880 difference.

I have a printed copy of both 1040 forms.  I was due to pay $875 to the IRS and used a MC to pay.  The payment appeared to go through and then the congratulatory message showed up on-screen telling me I owe the IRS $1705.  1040-ES Payment Vouchers were included in the print job which tells me they did not charge my credit card as I asked and submitted.  I did get a receipt for the filing of Fed & State using TurboTax Deluxe 2018, but not for the accurate payment due.  This is a serious glitch.  I'm now going to have to file an amendment and also incur penalties due to the program's error.  FYI:  I've never had a single issue using TurboTax and have been a customer for a couple of decades.  What can I have done for this?

Thank you for being a loyal TurboTax customer!

The Estimated Payment Vouchers that printed are for your 2019 taxes.

When you paid with your credit card, you were paying for 2018 tax due.

You can make your Estimated Payments for 2019 online with a credit card, but this is a separate transaction from paying your 2018 tax due.
